(More customer reviews)Bought this program because I was continually having problems with other programs I used to make business cards, address labels, and especially labels for CD's. I could never get them to align properly on Avery media, no matter what. They would always turn out off kilter, which made the labels look less than professional. With Design Pro 5.0, the first time I tried to make CD labels, Viola!! - perfectly centered. I consider this an extremely good buy. Only one minor drawback, doesn't have as many designs available as some other programs, but that is a minor price to pay.

My Labels Review

(More customer reviews)I used a previous version of My Labels, and was quite pleased with it. After changing computers a few times, the old version would no longer work with WinXP, so I "upgraded" to the newer version. Here's my gripe list:
1. When I tried to open my old My Labels files, it kindly offered to convert them to the new format. How convenient! Not at all. The data gets converted (duh), but the label design disappears.
2. Entering data is unbelievably frustrating. If you have fields that are the same, you can copy and paste, but that's it. Ctrl-D is supposed to work, but it doesn't really, making you type the same things over and over. Modern software is supposed to increase productivity, isn't it?
3. This is really a stamp selling program. They actually only want you to buy stamps, the software only being a hook to bring you in.
4. Placement of objects is very clutsy and it's difficult to put things close together.
5. Very limited creative options.
I'll never buy this again.

(More customer reviews)I have been selling incense for several years and my customers who were making the switch to scanning their products asked me to put a bar code on my incense. Label Factory was recommended so I purchased it and it has made it very easy for me accomplish what I needed for my labels. It's easy to download and begin creating. It's user friendly so I was able to quickly design the labels I needed. I use it in tandem with microsft publisher; inserting clip art and word-art gallery when naming my incense. I've never had a problem printing out my designs.
I think this software is useful for small businesses that need barcodes.
