(More customer reviews)I have had this product for about 2 weeks now and would rate it as good. Good graphics and sounds. Plays very well. No problem on installation, took about 15 minutes. The only negative I would give it is the game is slow...takes up to 20 seconds to load the game and about 10 seconds to load each slot machine. Note..I also have Blackbeards Revenge and also Ghost Town and each of them has the same "problem". It occasionaly crashes (the game not my computer) when trying to load the POPCORN game.

(More customer reviews)As a player who enjoys most of Phantom efx's slot releases, I was a little bit apprehensive about buying Adventure last year. It had a quest mode I wasn't sure that I'd like, but I ended up LOVING it!! So when I heard that American Adventure was coming out, I preordered it right away. And I wasn't disappointed! This is the BEST gaming value for your money if you like slots. For only 20 dollars, you get 20 slot machines with a bunch of fun and inventive bonus rounds. And the American Adventure mode is a ton of fun. You complete challenges in each of the 50 states. There are easy ones and hard ones. If you beat enough easy ones, you unlock new slots. If you beat enough hard ones, you unlock slots that pay out super super high. It's a fun challenge, and I love the music and graphics of the slots and the map that shows all the states that you have beaten. Great job Phantom efx!

IGT Slots: Texas Tea Review

(More customer reviews)Before I get to my review, I want to point out that the version of the product I received from my May 8, 2010 order is slightly different than what is described on this page as of May 13, 2010.
First, I love Tailgate Party and one of the big reasons I chose to buy this was because the description indicated that Tailgate Party was included. Unfortunately, the version that arrived does not include that slot game so, beware, if that's a deal breaker for you.
Second, while the description says it is only compatible with Windows up through Vista, the version of the game that arrived is marked on the box as being compatible with Windows 7 as well. I have installed it on our Win 7 PC and it works fine (after I downloaded a patch... see below).
Now to my review of the product that arrived. It loaded fine, but when I first tried to run it, it locked up a few times. I checked the readme file on the disk and it said to check for updates on [...]. There was an update on that page so I downloaded it and the game runs fine now.
These truly are the same slot games you can find in casinos. Rich colors and sounds. If you like them in a casino, you'll like them here. The risk of losing money is removed which can make it more fun than a casino. However, the hope of winning money is also removed which may lessen the fun for some people. Personally, I still find the bonus-type games (eg Texas Tea, Latino Machino) to be fun, but am pretty bored by the traditional machines (eg Triple Diamond) when there's no chance of winning real cash.

IGT Slots: Wolf Run Review

(More customer reviews)I absolutely love the Masque games I own. They always have done a great job with IGT, WMS ands Bally slots - till now. This title is one step above garbage.
As a slot player at home and at casinos I couldn't have been more excited at the prospect of playing Wolf Run, Catch a Wave and Texas Tina at home. When the disk arrived today I couldn't have been more disappointed. The list of issues is huge:
*The games respond slowly - the stop button is not responsive
*The Wolf Run game has no way to click to stop the reels showing all wins of a winning spin...This is the same bug that existed in the online version playable outside of the us.
*Wolf Run often sticks after paying a large amount. No way to exit the game unless you open task manager and quit the program.
*THEY CHEAPED-OUT AND DIDN'T INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL MUSIC!!! What is catch a wave without the Beach Boys "Catch A Wave" as the bonus music? What is Texas Tina without "Cotton Eyed Joe"?
These games are poor, fake replicas - almost as bad as the old Monopoly slot home versions were. They should offer a refund - and an apology.
