(More customer reviews)Sierra Home released Generations version 8.6 in the year 2000. In 2002, Sierra Home went out of business, and Generations was sold to Genealogy.com. No new version of Generations has been released since then, and there is no support for this fine genealogy software.
Generations was originally developed by Leister Production and was named Reunion for Windows. Leister had begun with Reunion for the Mac, which continues to be supported. Many consider it to be the best family tree software for the Mac. In 1997, Leister sold Reunion for Windows to Sierra, who renamed it Generations.
